Eberlestock Warranty Policy

Eberlestock® branded products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

If an Eberlestock® branded product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair the product, without charge, or replace it, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

The Eberlestock® lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, regardless of the age of the product, but it does not cover normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your Eberlestock® product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. Common examples of wear and tear that would not be covered under the lifetime warranty include colors fading, abrasions and general breakdown of the materials over the years.

Our gear, like anything else, will eventually wear out. So, to apply common sense, "Lifetime" means that we guarantee our materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, but we do not guarantee it against wearing out.

Upon receipt of a warranty return, Eberlestock's warranty team will evaluate the product. If, based upon the condition of the product, we determine that there is damage that is not covered under our warranty, we will provide an estimate for the cost of the repair. Eberlestock has sole discretion in making this determination. If there is a dispute, Eberlestock will return the item to its owner in the condition in which we received it.

Warranty evaluation: Please note that while photos are a good way for our warranty team to initially assess a claim, a photo evaluation does not guarantee that a claim will fall under warranty. Eberlestock® reserves the right to evaluate your claims before determining if your items falls under our warranty policy. If it does fall under our warranty policy we will repair it or replace it at our discretion. If it does not fall under our warranty policy we will offer a quote for the cost of repair and return shipping.
