This is a concept gun, built around our 2006 Olympic Biathlon rifles.
We've pioneered quite a bit of new ground with this design. Many
of you have asked us about it, and to the rest of our customers, we'll
share our response: Basically, we know that this is a great idea.
As a take-down gun, it is unparalleled:
Light. Rugged. Reliable.
Fully
Adjustable.
Break-down Compactable. You can pop an out-of-the-box 700 in there
and turn it into a completely different, modernized gun. It's a
fun tool, and fun to shoot; it's responsive and accurate. But all
of that fancy CNC milling is expensive and not really necessary; without
giving more away for the time being, we've decided that we have yet
another "better way."
Of
course, as you'd expect as you explore our realms, once we decide
there's a better way to do something, we don't fool around a whole lot
with the old way. So although we could make a 2006 for you, we
would prefer to wait just a bit. Be patient, keep us in mind, and
if you want to improve your factory weapons, come back and see us again
in the near future.
In
the meantime, we'll keep the 2006 M1 on line as a portfolio tool
-- to show you that we are aggressive about thinking differently.
And as a record to show that, although others may claim to have
devised this concept, this is where it began. More information
about our new plans will be coming soon.
